Garbage burns at the point where toxic red alumina sludge stopped flowing from a ruptured reservoir at a plant in a nearby village after an industrial accident in Kolontar, Hungary on November 21, 2010. On October 4, 2010 an industrial accident in nearby Ajka, Hungary sent a torrent of toxic red alumina sludge gushing through Kolontar and several surrounding villages, killing ten, injuring hundreds and leaving several families homeless.
