Ilona Autal, 40, rubs cream on the legs of her son, Peter Bogdan, 12, before school in their living room to soothe the pain of the burns that resulted from an industrial accident caused by a rupture in a toxic alumina sludge reservoir at a nearby plant which ruptured as Peter was walking home from school, in the morning before Peter goes to school in Devecser, Hungary on November 25, 2010. On October 4, 2010, an industrial reservoir accident at the MAL plant in nearby Ajka, Hungary sent a torrent of the hazardous material gushing through the streets, killing ten, injuring hundreds and leaving many homeless.
