Disaster management workers and locals line up to receive free lunch, served daily to residents, many of whom were left homeless after an industrial accident caused by a rupture in a toxic alumina sludge reservoir at a nearby plant, in Devecser, Hungary on November 24, 2010. On October 4, 2010 an industrial accident at the MAL plant in nearby Ajka, Hungary that sent a torrent of toxic red alumina sludge gushing through the village and several surrounding villages, injuring hundreds, leaving several families homeless and killing ten.
