Volunteers serve free lunch to residents, many of whom were left homeless after an industrial accident resulted in a rupture in a toxic alumina sludge reservoir at a nearby plant, in Devecser, Hungary on November 24, 2010. On October 4, 2010, an industrial accident at the MAL plant in nearby Ajka, Hungary sent a torrent of toxic red alumina sludge gushing through the village and several surrounding villages, injuring hundreds, leaving several families homeless and killing ten.
