Temur, 30, of Yevpatoria, Crimea sits in a corner by the elevator in the occupied city hall of Kiev, Ukraine on April 2, 2014. Timur was injured by a bullet that grazed his left shoulder after it struck his shield on Institutskaya Street; two other friends he met on the Maidan were struck and killed by bullets to the heart.<br />

"I came here to support the people on the 16th of December. For sure Crimea won't be ours again. It is said and written and for the next few years, we won't see it. The next few years for us are in Kiev and we will help [Crimea] from a distance. This is not a time to talk about changes when we still have so many problems to resolve, like the parliament - those people don't deserve to sit where they are sitting. Maybe Maidan will go home after elections in May but it depends on who is elected. If they don't like it, maybe there will be more revolution."
