Armando Robles and Melvin Maclin are seen at the United Electrical Workers Western Region Union Hall, a day after Serious Materials of Sunnyvale, California announced plans to buy the Republic Windows and Doors Factory whose closure led to a 6-day sit-in strike last December and rehire the old workers, in Chicago, Illinois on February 26, 2009. Robles worked at Republic Windows and Doors for eight years and is the president of the local union chapter and Maclin worked there for seven years and is vice-president of the local union chapter.
